Kutz's Mill, Greenwich Township, Berks County, Kutztown, PA, and the 4 generations of Kutz Family who lived there and ran the mill.

National register of historic places put Kutz Mill on its register in 1990.
The paperwork says the mill was built around 1854 and the house in 1855, both built by then Miller and proprietor, Jacob Kutz. I believe this Miller was Jacob Philip Kutz.
He was William P. Kutz's father. William P. Kutz appears in photos below with his family. For some time, in the 1800's William's younger brother Charles Edwin Kutz is said to have run the mill, but when he died in the late 1800's, his estate was sold and William, his brother is believed to have taken over the farm and mill until his death in 1938.

Here are some of the local fellows hanging out at the mill. This is the doorway facing the road on the second story. I believe I see a young Adam Kohler and I am sure William Philip Kutz is there with his usual hat and moustache somewhere amongst them.

In this recent above photo you can almost see all the same stones, still darker than the rest in the same pattern today as over 100 years ago.

This above photo may be William Philip Kutz and Emma Caroline Kohler shortly after their marriage.
Photos is unlabeled, so corrections are welcome.

Ida D. Kutz (Jacob's granddaughter) never married and lived in the Miller's house her whole life. She worked at a local knitting mill.

Ida's brother, Pius William Kutz married Hilda Ella Merkel.
Below is Pius Henry Kutz and his wife Hilda Ella Merkel around 1917.

They had one child, Lee William Kutz, who never married. He was a farmer in Greenwich Township, on a farm up the road from Kutz's Mill.

Searching for a list of who is buried in the Kutz Family Graveyard, previously unpublished.

As part of my research into the historic Kutz Family Graveyard on Hottenstein Rd, Kutztown, I am looking for anyone who might have any written information on who is buried in this family field cemetery. We have what is published in historical books based on oral tradition like Morton Montgomery's History of Berks County books.
What I am looking for is something derived from the Kutz family itself, possibly handwritten, likely in German, and possibly saved in a family bible similar to this one pictured below.
This information could be on a piece of paper stuffed within the 1000 pages of one of these family bibles. These family bibles were like safes, the best place in a household to keep important documents and info.
It wasn't until my 4th time going through this bible, that I found some more items hidden inside.
A written record of who was buried in this cemetery might have been passed down to family or non-family, if no descendants were left.
There are many headstones that appear to be missing from this graveyard, so a written record could be the best we can get in order to confirm who all are buried there. Once we find this information, we can move forward to a plan for best preservation and memorial for this historic cemetery.
Please message me with any info you have, and direct others who might have info to me as well! Whoever has this information might not know what they have, or that they have it. Every potential must be examined. Thank you!
This Bible is embossed with "William P. Kutz" along the bottom on the front in gold

Here is just one of the treasures inside this Bible: William P. Kutz and Emma Kohler's 1890 marriage certificate, signed by local Kutztown pastor, John Hiester Leinbach.

Original Kutz Progenitor Johann Nicholas Kutz Wrote his Own Name on his Deathbed

Here is a copy of my 7th great grandfather's handwriting of his own name in 1749.
His name was Johann Nicholas Kutz. -Or the way he spelled his name here, Nücklaus Kutz (1690-1749).

He wrote this on this deathbed in German. (It's translated to English below his writing, half-way down the page).

He came to settle in America between 1719 and 1729, near Kutztown, Pennsylvania. He was a farmer and owned over 500 acres by the time he died. His wife was Anna Catharina Grimm (1695-1769.)
They had 6 children. He and his wife are most likely buried in this family field cemetery near Kutztown.

Kutz Family Graveyard, located at 124-224 Hottenstein Rd, Kutztown PA 19530

The Kutz Family Graveyard is an old burial site dating back to 1749, when Johann Nicholas Kutz I (1690-1749) was buried here on what was likely a part of his farm land.
Other family members are also said to be buried here, including his wife, Anna Catharina Grimm (1695-1768), their son, Johann Nicholas Kutz II (1722-1790), and grandson Johann Nicholas Kutz III (1764-1831).
